Protist micrososms as a model system in ecology and evolution

Protist microcosms are a great model systems to investigate various questions in ecology and evolutionary biology. A new paper by a large group of researchers working with this model system has appeared online. The purpose of the paper is to provide a user’s guide for using this model system; a series of various laboratory protocols is included as a supplement to the paper.
